The mission of WOW is to support the women & children in Haywood County.

Vision

To function as a support system for women & children and the local organizations which support them in Haywood County, through innovative and inspirational methods of fundraising, and the application of ‘WOWer Power.’

Who we are

REAL WOMEN RAISING REAL AWARENESS AND

REAL MONEY FOR REAL CAUSES

WOW is made up of women from all walks of life. From aged 20s to 80s, from other countries and states, & those born and raised in Haywood County. 

We are hippies and corporate climbers, cancer survivors, abuse survivors,  married women and single women. We are artists and gay and straight and introverts and musicians and comedians and quiet observers and loud & opinionated and thinkers and writers. As an organization, we have learned that every woman has a place inside of our group.

AND THERE’S MORE… 

WOW is a platform for new friendships; a support system for one another through obstacles & losses, & a sisterhood socializing and celebrating the wins. 

Ultimately, WOW is all volunteer and all heart – no paid employees. WOW is women who see value in supporting  those who have fallen through the cracks of modern day society.
