WOW is also a place that women have come and found new friendships. Understanding that you will receive what you put in, as would be with any new or long standing relationship.
HOW TO JOIN
Each year in January or February (weather contingent) WOW hosts our annual anniversary celebration and party. It is during this time that we open the doors to women in our community that have heard about WOW and would like to have more information about us as well as having the opportunity to come and meet the members that make WOW, WOW! It is during this meeting that you would get a first taste of what being a part of WOW is like. Once the event is over, we allow open enrollment to continue through the end of April. Women that have an interest after attending the anniversary party are required to attend two WOW meetings prior to making the decision to join. There is also a sponsorship requirement for any new member for the first year. This means that an existing WOW member will have to sponsor the new member joining for their first year as WOW members. Open enrollment and doors close to additional members effective May 1st each year until the next Anniversary party.
As a new member, there is a one time $25.00 registration fee.
Annual dues are $30.00 and are paid in full by July 1st of each year. There is a $5.00 late fee for dues unpaid after our first meeting in July.
WOW requires that members participate 50% in everything we do. This includes but is not limited to attending meetings, being a part of a committee, participating in the development and management of fund raisers.
